Language Schools - 'All in One' Package including Vocal Tuition, Song Recording and Photographic SessionKitchen Sink Creations in association with Silverscope Music UK are now offering a fantastic 'All in One' audio and visual delight for Language Schools throughout Europe to improve the English language and pronunciation for their students through singing via vocal tuition and song recording.
In early 2010 Richard Rogers at Silverscope came up
with the idea of developing a music and photography company based in Malta that
incorporate a traveling vocal tuition, song recording and photography facility
that we believe is both excellent for students to learn English through singing
whilst offering exceptional value for money.
We offer a unique process that we are just introducing to Language
Schools both in Malta and abroad through 3 UK professionals who are experts in
their respective fields of vocal tuition, song recording and photography. Over
the course of 4 hours each student receives fantastic individual tuition from
our 3 professionals for an extraordinary 'All in One' package of skills and
benefits while improving their English phonetics and language considerably at
the same time.
We start the learning package with Maddy Dargue who is an MMA award
winner 2010 and who teaches foreign vocalists in Malta to develop their
techniques to sing in a more rounded English speaking voice. She works on
individuals 'missing sounds' technique using her copyrighted Colours Of The
Voice method used in schools in the UK. The 'missing sounds' technique will
cater for each individual depending on the area of the world they have arrived
from. She teaches a person from Japan for example completely differently than a
person from Russia or Italy, as the phonetic alphabets are all incredibly
diverse. As an example Maltese is the only Semitic language in the world that
uses the Roman alphabet so there are more guttural sounds so various 'missing
sounds' appear or rather don't appear when Maltese people speak in English.
We did 6 months research in
Malta and 6 months research in the UK and one of our main worries when speaking
to non-English persons teaching English over her in Malta at language schools
was their distinct inability in some cases of teaching these 'missing sounds'
themselves as they had been taught incorrectly too! We found teachers who left
out a 'th' sound and replaced it with a 'd' sound so the word 'the' became 'da'
which we thought was a poor way to teach English. We also established in our
research that students were much happier learning English in a more relaxed
environment such as by singing and were more confident in 'one to one' learning
than in group classes.
From
Maddy the student works with our record producer Richard Rogers for about an
hour and a half where Richard monitors and improves their language and then
records the student singing to a recording of their choice via our mobile
recording facility. Richard also taught phonetics and pronunciation to various
artists from Italy, Russia, India and Sri Lanka when working as a producer in
the UK so his insight and experience are highly valued in these areas.
Once
the recording is completed the student then works with Matt Clark a fabulous UK
photographer who puts the icing on the cake by offering a one hour
photographic session with the student. After 3 and a half hours to 4 hours of
top quality professional tutoring the individual student has a package of
learning vocal techniques to developing their English, they receive a recording
a song of their choice and get a top photographic session all into the bargain.
If the student doesn't
wish to have the full package but just wishes to partake in two or even only
one of these options then this can be administered subject to timings.
Individual prices available on request.
We are able to work with a maximum of 10 students per day and as an incentive
we offer a standard percentage payment of the full fees of the package per
person to the school for promoting us via our leaflets, posters and via email etc.
We
can even provide an end of term showcase of the students singing in English if
required. We are also flexible on the hours that we work so if it means we
start at 4pm and finish at 10pm then this is not a problem for us.
An
individual student's hours would for example work such as below with the second student following on an hour later and so on.
Vocal/Phonetic
tuition with Maddy 1pm
Recording
song with Richard 2pm
Photographic
session with Matt 3.30pm
Finish (approx)
4.45pm
This
is a very unique and exciting new opportunity for language schools across
Europe and we hope you will find the 'All in One' package a must have for your
students and school.
